Jesus raised the dead, and people thought that was impossible. But thousands of years later, we can raise the dead...as long as they havent been dead more than like 5 minutes or something like that. :) Jesus healed the sick, and for thousands of years, people would die of disease, until science made medicines that can cure/help sicknesses and diseases.
So why did it take science so long to do what Jesus did?

They were doing plastic and brain surgery in Roman times. So christianity has a lot to answer for.What science does nowadays is not the same as what Jesus did. God gave Jesus the power to do what others cannot. Jesus resurrected Lazarus after he had been dead for 4 days. Science cannot do that.Myths, my friend... just myths.Can we have proof that Jesus did these things pleaseyou mean what people CLAIMED jesus did. Historical jesus did nothing supernatural.You are working under the assumption that what the bible says is true. that is definitely not a safe assumption.For a religious nut you have a point. For example, Jesus cured the blind. We are on the verge of gene therapies to cure people of an eye disease Retinitis Pigmentosa. A few years back I think an atheist might have said-Jesus curing the blind was simply a con...the guys weren't blind but plants. But now as we advance in therapeutics to within this capability I'm begining to think....maybe an advanced being could do this.
