Why do cons say McCain is a hero when Obama is a hero to many youths?

  • Young people realize they have no hope with governments who incite racism, who bankrupt the hardworking, who govern with deceit and lies. They have nothing to look forward to and in other countries kids like this turn to drugs and booze, pump out crack hooked babies and commit suicide. I suppose they want more than this don't you, you poor things.

    Old mules, with fat butts and wallets, just want more of the same that kept them that way. That lard has made it to their brains as well and they are just hooked in TV land and all their war stories and movies cause TV land is really their realities now. THey all love a good war flick too. They are selfish hogs who are happy with the status quo and couldn't care less about tomorrow, the planet or anything beyond their 4 walls.

    What good is being a "HERO" when you're good for nothing else?

    No offence but flying a plane, crashing it and being held in solitary confinement (not too shabbily either) does not make one worthy of beign a PRESIDENT.

    Coming home, finding your wife as critically injured as you had been, thinking her repulsive and dumping her for a new and much RICHER model is the lowest thing a man could do in my opinion, and I don't care WHAT he suffered at war.

    Obama is more a hero because of the calibre of man he is, a family man, a good man, a conscientious man, and a man who puts OTHERS ahead of his own personal interests.

    He could have just lined his pocket with cash and looked after his family you know instead of giving a sh*t about anybody else. That makes someone a HERO in my book, just like the heroes who died at 9/11 by going into those buildings to save others instead of running and protecting THEIR hides like half of Washington did.

  • To consrevatives, any war Vet is a hero...... even those that sleep outside a church and can't find jobs

    even those war vets that conservatives prefer to lock up instead of providing them with social programs ( treatments )

    There's a difference between celebrity and hero. Simply being worshipped by vacant, uninformed teenagers doesn't make one a hero.


  • Because McCain served his country during wartime. Obama HAS NEVER worn the Uniform of his country. I doubt he knows which end of an M16 is the barrel.


  • McCain is not a hero. He managed to crash jets throughout his military career and fly recklessly over enemy territory and get shot down.
    As you can see he was in the business of costing the tax payers money early in his life.

He has convinced his supporters that he can solve all of America's concerns - health care for 320 million people, an end to the Iraq war, restore the world's respect for America, end the corruption in Washington, etc....etc......
    He is, however, no hero.
