What should you do if you're on a volcano and...?

  • and it begins to erupt. I am doing a report on The Galeras Volcano in Columbia and need to know what hikers should do if they are on the mountain and it begins to erupt. Any suggestions?


  • absolutely nothing. your basically screwed.


  • kiss you butt goodbye. there isn't much to do if you are in the blast zone of a significant eruption. Some lavas flow faster than you can run and eruptions always have super hot poison gas that can move very quickly


  • Have your own Personal helicopter hovering above and if it erupts, get them to harness you away very quickly.
