What fun stuff is there to do in North Carolina?

  • I'm from California and want to go on vacation next September. For no particular reason, North Carolina sounds like an interesting location. I'm 25, but I don't drink so I'm not looking for a party scene. I also don't have a ton of $$$ to live lavishly. Any suggestions? Destinations? Warnings?

  • Well a fun thing to do is go whitewater rafting down the Nanahala River. You can get a personal guide, and it is alot of fun.


  • Find a Little Brother concert.


  • Go to the beach, go to an amusement park.


  • personally id love to go to Wilmington, North Carolina because its suposed to be beautiful ...its where a walk to remember, one tree hill, and dawsons creek were filmed. in all of those it looks beautiful

    There is plenty of stuff to do depending on what you like. If you are looking for Museum's there is Contemporary Art Museum, Legends of Harley Drag Racing Museum which is Awsome, North Carolina Museum of Art and more if you like nightlife then there is, Bud Light Downtown Live, DIVEbar Raleigh and more.
