I was watching the England vs New Zealand rugby match on the 29th (on Sky Sports) and the commentators had a lot of issues with Alain Rolland's refereeing. I thought he was very good and controlled the game very well â ” it seemed like the teams had come out with the intention of breaking the laws and he prevented them from doing so. What did you think?It was far better performance than we had for the clown doing our game against Wales.England were lucky that more of their players didnt get penalised ,he let some things go and lucky for England he did.It was good reffing he laid down the law and stuck to it. All the players want is consistency then they know were they stand and then they can get on with the game.Yes he did control the game very well and, at long last, nailed England for playing the boring, illegal rugby they have become renowned for. Where nearly all of the rugby world is trying to speed up the game England commit and endless ammount of fouls to slow it down; once again they paid the price.
