  • No and Yes, I discovered the previously thought lowest temperature on earth was wrong, the lowest modern temperature in modern times is actually from 1823 in Antartica, it was an amazing 172 degrees farenheit below, it was discovered from chemical changes in a rock. It was thoroughly checked for meddling, it is remarked as unlikely, however I am positive this was the actual temperature. Long time ago, it's not really important anyway.
