So I had the stomach bug earlier this week (fri-Sun) and was getting better but I am still kinda nauseated on-off (not pregnant...) I have an on-off appetite still- I tried eating a cheeseburger yesterday late night and gave me diarhhea again feeling better this afternoon but still nauseated! UGH! I am just wondering am I just thinking too much about it and so my mind is making me sicky feeling. Any ideas? Don't eat anything dairy and drink lots of liquids. Dairy only irritates your stomach more which is probably why the cheeseburger didn't go over well. I've been there and it totally sucks. Lots of liquid and lots of rest is pretty much all you can do. Good luck.Yea I always feel like that when I recover from a bug, like your traumatized. Don't worry symptoms will fade very soon. Just start eating again lightly.I'd say that you are not completely over your "bug" - give your "gut" a rest -- eat only bland foods for 3-4 days - nothing greasy, fried, spicey or hard to digest. Mostly soft stuff - soup, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, etc. until you are no longer nauseous. Drink lots of juice and water to stay hydrated.Give it a week --- hope you feel better.I am home with that right now :(
