  • Hey there. Next july i will be moving to the U.S.A from England to start my Football (soccer) scholarship. Im 19 and i will be moving out with my girlfriend who is qualified in working with children! I was just wondering if work would be easy for her to find a job and the rate of pay? also how much would renting an apartment cost roughly a month on a campus?

    Costs and salaries vary across the USA, so that depends on WHERE you will live. You need to re-post your question with the location info, preferably in a city-section of the travel category close to where you expect to go to school.

  • First you have to sort out her Visa (assuming she is a UK citizen). You have a visa for your scholarship. How is she entering the country? If you are both coming on education visas, neither of you are allowed to work outside a very limited number of opportunities usually on campus.
    On-campus housing is generally limited to students. Finding an apartment near campus should not be very difficult. Rent will vary by area.
