How do I print out a protected document in Lotus Notes?Hi bfn9yvv
Is this document not protected by
yourself then? What version of Lotus?
Have you tried right clicking the
document and selecting properties?
-AIThis document is not protected by myself. I say in 'Help' that there
are ways to print the document. The version is Lotus Notes 4.6. I
have tried right clicking and properties but was not able to print it.
It would give me the header but not the body of the message. Can you clarify what do you mean by "protected document"? Is it an
e-mail message sent "prevent copying" enabled or something else? Can
you see the document on your screen at all?I can see the document on my screen, but I cannot copy it or any
portion of it, I cannot print it, and I cannot forward it. Even when
I try to 'reply with history' the message disappears.Well, there *is* a way, but you have to be allowed to create personal
agents (allowed by default) by your system administrator.
- Right click your mailbox and select "Go To Design".
- Find "Agents" in the list.
- Select Create - Agent from the menu.
- Enter "Unprotect" as the name of your agent.
- Change "Simple Actions" to "Formula"
- Leave other settings as default.
- In the large area at the bottom, type in the following line:
FIELD $KeepPrivate := @Unavailable;
- Save and close your agent
Now, select the the protected message in your Inbox and select
"Unprotect" from the Actions menu. Hopefully you will be able to copy,
print, forward and reply with history.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
