Is there a better name that goes with....?

  • Our son Braiden is going to be a big brother so we were thinking of names that went well with Braiden Michael Hoffman....We were thinking Paxton or Dalton since they are family names but are there any better ones?

  • Maybe Daxton (sort of combine the two names you like)

    Of the two, I prefer Dalton. I have two sons named Damon and Dallon, and I am 18 weeks pregnant. If we have another son, he will be Daxton because there is already a Dalton in my family.
    Other names we considered are: (we wanted it to start with DA and end with ON)
    Daron
    Davon (rhymes with Gavin)
    Dawson
    Dayson
    Daxon
    Dayton
    Dathon

    Best of luck! I would suggest going with a name that ends with the en sound---like Logan, Casen, Mason, Benjamin, Cameron, etc.


  • I like both of these very much particuarly because they are family names. I think you should use both of them. Paxton Dalton or Dalton Paxton. Both very nice! If you're even thinking a little bit about using family names, make sure you do it, other wise you'll regret not using them later.

    I like Braiden and Connor or Braiden and Noah best.
