Okay so theres this girl that i really like and me and her get along, you know we laugh together throw in a couple of cute jokes, but this monday is my birthday and i was gonna ask her out that day, i know she has a thing for zebras so im going to build a bear workshop to built her sumthin she really loves, and im going to write 2 things that is gonna go with it when i give her the stuffed animal, 1st is a poem
"I asked God for a flower, he gave me a bouquet
I asked God for a minute, he gave me a day
I asked God for true love, he gave me that too
I asked for an angel and he gave me you." and the 2nd is
" Hi [Name] the birthday boy wants to know if you want to be his girlfriend". Now in your guys opinion does that sound like a good idea? thanxx =]A bit full on to start with, perhaps a bit lighter ? Unless she is the sort of girl that is really insecure then yes it will be great.
If she is very sure of her self & is ruthless don't do it.
But a nice, giving girl will be so happy with you, yr a star!if she is not your girlfriend yet I would hold off on the poem a little. give it to her after she says yes. think of another poem to give her first. something more in the lines of first time I saw you. that type of thing. ask her to your b-day first before going to build a bear as well. it is a good idea but the poem may chase her off. just as a woman "planning" her life with you would chase you off. the first poem should be more about a first meeting is all I say. the second poem after a little while is better suited for the one you have above.It sound very cute, you have a lot talent, I could tell.so cute, ya it's a good idea if ur sure she likes u!yes aww so sweet yes go for it yay! lol :) cahyoooooooooooot!!!!!!!! do it!

If I were you, I wouldn't let her know that it was my birthday so that she would answer honestly and not say yes just because she doesn't want to hurt your feelings. So I guess it all depends on whether she likes you back? If you're confident that she likes you then go for it.

Sorry but I can see that you are quite the romantic. I once thought that your way of asking someone out was great, for a time, but experience has taught me otherwise. If she really likes you, then all you need is to tell her exactly how you feel. Yes, how you feel, not with a corny poem, not with some giant zebra, but from your own heart. Tell her that you like her and would like to go out with her. If you are intent on all the romance, wait until you are dating, then wait for an extremely special time for her, not your birthday, her birthday.Don't ask her on her birthday unless you're confident she'll say yes. If she says no it'll ruin her day. Anyways how old are you guys? My friend in high school gave a Build-a-Bear to some girl. She told me privately she didn't want it and he got a lot of crap about it from other guys. Just ask her out the traditional way maybe on a day that's not her birthday. awww, thats so sweet! i wuld just march right up and ask her, wear a nice shirt, have good breath, and smell nice. look confident and gentle, REALLY mean it! i <3 ur poem! hope i helped!
