My best friend's birthday is this month and her boyfriend bought her two tickets to the Project Revolution Tour. Linkin Park is headlining with My Chemical Romance and a bunch of other bands. I have no interest in the whole emo/goth/punk for the preppy kids scene. But I've already used up every excuse in the book (I don't have the money to go, don't have a sitter). She really wants me to go. I already plan on getting plastered. What else can I do to take my mind off the blaring music?2 tickets? why wouldn't she want to go with her boyfriend then? Why is she dragging you into it?Let me start by saying I'm 29 and LOVE Linkin Park and Chemical Romance, have all the CD's. Since you'll be getting loaded up that the show you could always start a mosh pit, if they still do those now LOL. Just have a good time and drink your face off and yell and scream! Friends are rarely that close that they feel you are the only one they want to go with them. You should cherish it.
You should also go moshing and flash the band if that keeps you from getting bored.
But be careful of how much you drink or you will come home with a shaved head and a tattoo or piercing. I don't theink they brand people who are drunk anymore.
But it is a concert, there are tons of way to amuse yourself and most of them will not end you up in jail or pregnant. Just don't sign any releases because you don't want to be on Girls Gone Wild -Linkin Park.Have fun and stop being so selfish! It's one night out of your life, and it's your best friend's day!
