The title says it all really. I just want to know, when I am practicing speaking Japanese and I want to make sure I have said something correctly, is there the Japanese equivalent of "Did that make sense?"? The first thing that would come to mind to say would be "Wakarimashita ka" but I was wondering if there is a politer way to say this. Also, would it be correct to use "Mou ichido itte kudasai" to ask someone to repeat themselves (equivalent to "Pardon?" in English) and could this be reduced to "Mou ichido itte" if you were speaking to someone familiar? I just got a 77mm Hoya UV filter. As soon as I pulled it out of the plastic case I noticed a piece of something stuck to it, about the size of a dust particle. I gently blew on it, and it didn't budge so I then took a new post-it note, bent it, and used the edge to gently dislodge the debris, and no I didn't get sticky stuff anywhere near the lense. Anyway, the little booger or whatever it was left a very small smudge. Now it was time to quit playing around- so I put a drop of lense cleaning solution on a pec pad and (ever so gently of course) went to town on the smudge. I was messing with the above this evening and noticed that when the 580EX was placed on the stand, all the contacts on the bottom of the flash were being shorted out by the shoe. Big question in my mind is "Does this really matter", or am I safe to carry on like that. I can't seem to get a good-looking photograph of firefighters in their gear with any digital camera, or any kind of camera for that matter. I have tried all the different flash settings, but the reflective strips on the firefighters' gear and clothing confuses the camera into thinking that the scene has more light than it really does. The result is a very very dark photo, and a few super bright strips of uniform showing up. I went to turn on my TV, it made this loud 'screaming' sound for about five or six seconds, then turned off. I have been using a Blk & Decker 12 vlt drill for 4 yrs., problem is insufficient torque and battery life while drilling anything more than 6 holes with good bits in 2 x 4's. I took these around 5 years ago, with my first slr, a Nikon f60, my first ever portraits. Not done any since, actually, as have focussed more on landscape. I printed them myself, also a first time job and probably far from perfect. I'm building a contract and stuff to start shooting weddings and events (just got my Speedlite 550EX yesterday...woohoooo!), and have a question. In the contract, do you have any disclaimer about weather for outdoor events? I'm just thinking if there's a family reunion or something I get contracted for, I'm not going to risk several thousands of dollars worth of equipment taking it out in the rain. Or is that being too picky??My contract says that short of dangerous weather (lightning, tornadoes), I'm willing to keep working or reschedule. My equipment is pretty weatherproof, so I don't really worry about that. I just keep a big lens hood on, and go to natural lighting. ok so i know they are legal and everything and there is one i am looking at buying but it is only the body w/o the engine. and my question is if i were to buy an engine off of password JDM would it fit or would i need a specific motor or a converter for the engine to fit?I have seen this done with a Nissan Sentra. The car was a right hand drive Japanese model with a 1.6 liter carburetor engine that had a left hand drive (U.S. model) 2.0 fuel injected installed. It took some modification to the wire harness but It did eventually fit and work as it should. I don't know for sure, but, I don't see a problem with the engine fitting. I can't see why it wouldn't. So I had the stomach bug earlier this week (fri-Sun) and was getting better but I am still kinda nauseated on-off (not pregnant...) I have an on-off appetite still- I tried eating a cheeseburger yesterday late night and gave me diarhhea again feeling better this afternoon but still nauseated! UGH! I am just wondering am I just thinking too much about it and so my mind is making me sicky feeling. Any ideas? I'd say that you are not completely over your "bug" - give your "gut" a rest -- eat only bland foods for 3-4 days - nothing greasy, fried, spicey or hard to digest. Hi: I want to install a 220 volt outlet in my garage for my TS3650. In my house the 220 for the clothes dryer is located on the other side of the wall next to the garage. My question is will I have to install a new circuit from the service panel to the garage or can I connect it to the circuit which already exists for my clothes dryer and run that into the garage? I apologize for the terminology here and I hope this question makes sense. A new circuit will be a real problem as there doesn't appear to be any room for an additional breaker.
